Rehab-Fitness Group Classes


 

Rehab-Fitness classes are ideal for those recovering from injury, new to fitness, or who want emphasis on alignment and preventative care.  These speciality classes are instructed by professional Rehab Therapists and are directed to create pain-free movement, a strong and stable core, improved mobility, and solid foundational strength to heal, condition, and raise your ability to the next level.

Rehab Fitness Classes

Functional fitness for the prenatal and postpartum mom. This class is instructed by Dr. Abby Delgoffe, Chiropractor, and focuses on full body strengthening, increasing awareness, and repatterning in your changing body. This class mixes interval training, cardio, light weights, and pelvic floor/core rehab.

When to Start Class: Prenatal- for the already active moms-to-be at any stage of pregnancy.
Postnatal- 6 weeks after birth depending on your practitioner. Possibly 8 weeks after cesarean birth. Feel free to call with questions.
Babies: Babies are welcome to come until they are no longer able to sit in a carrier through class or start to crawl off the mat.

New Moms: Be sure to show up 15 minutes ahead of time or get in contact with Abby before hand to chat about your birth so we know where to move from as everyone's birth experience will be different.

Rehab Fitness: Total Body is ideal for those recovering from any body injury or looking to prevent injury and enhance performance by improving form, function, balance, strength, and stability. Learn exercises to strengthen, stabilize, and mobilize your entire body to improve your overall health and get in shape for that next adventure.
Join in for this healing and movement based rehab-fitness class to increase awareness and attention to your "Back Body". Release emotional stress, compression and tension on your spine, improve mobility, stability, and strength to decrease pain, prevent injury, and enhance performance for better function and a more fulfilling life.
 
This is a specialized back rehab fitness class taught by Francine Bartlett DPT, ATC, RYT
Rehab Fitness: Lower Body is ideal for those recovering from a lower body injury or looking to prevent injury and enhance performance by improving form, function, balance, strength, and stability. Learn exercises to strengthen, stabilize, and mobilize your lower body to improve your knee health and get in shape for that next adventure.

 
Rehab Fitness: Upper body emphasizes rotator cuff and scapular stabilization exercises which can decrease symptoms associated with impingement, instability, biceps tendonitis, as well as postural imbalances. This class is ideal for those recovering from a shoulder, spine or other upper body injuries or for those looking to prevent injury and improve posture, function and stability.

 
The Sportsmetrics program is designed to improve physical performance and reduce ACL injury risk. It is the first and largest evidence-based program in its field.
 
Performance improvements display as increases in your speed, strength, power, body control all while reducing your risk of lower body injury. We use primarily plyometric and bodyweight exercises to achieve these results.
 
If you are a recreational or competitive athlete or just plain like to get out and play in the mountains, this class will prepare your body for moving more efficiently so you can have more fun doing the things you love!
