Francine Bartlett, PT, DPT, ATC, RYT

 
I am the Founder, Owner, and Director of Medicine Wheel Wellness and co-own Excel Physical Therapy, the initial therapeutic service that set the foundation for Medicine Wheel Wellness. My practice as a Physical Therapist, Athletic Trainer, and Yoga Instructor coupled with a passion for travel led into deeper studies in the healing methods of global and local cultures. I believe to achieve optimal health and wellness it requires a holistic approach with a balance of the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of life.
I enjoy working with all ages and injuries/conditions, but with a 25 year history in orthopedic sports medicine, I specialize in athletic injury recovery, particularly knee rehab. I am the Medical Education Director of Opedix Kinetic Health Gear hold certifications  in Z-Health, SportsMetrics, KinesioTaping, Reflexology, Yoga, Dry Needling, Reiki, Thai Massage, and Kettlebell Training.

Amy Harmon, PT, DPT

 
Prior to obtaining her Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of North Dakota, Amy graduated with honors from the University of Wyoming, where she majored in kinesiology and health sciences, and minored in psychology.
 
A driven, dynamic physical therapist, Amy's practice utilizes a variety of therapeutic approaches tailored to individual patient needs that incorporate a mixture of manual and traditional therapies, as well as non-traditional rehabilitation methods. She is skilled in various areas of physical therapy including outpatient orthopedic, neurological and vestibular rehabilitation, as well as acute care — and has worked with patients ranging from high-performing athletes and golfers to those recovering from stroke and living with conditions such as Parkinson's Disease.
 
Amy holds certifications in kinesio-tape and CPR. She is also currently pursuing advanced continuing education in vestibular rehabilitation and a strain counterstrain (SCS) certification from the Jones Institute.
 
A Jackson Hole native, Amy is naturally a sports and nature enthusiast. She enjoys hiking, camping, snowboarding, wakeboarding, and paddleboarding.

Chris Bates

Whether you're walking into your first fitness class in years (or ever!) or you're the committed fitness/sports enthusiast looking for a gnarly workout, you probably want to trust the instructor cares about you and knows their stuff. With a Bachelors and Masters in Exercise Physiology from the University of Miami, I prioritize injury prevention via intentional technique and movement. I have four years of fitness training experience that includes training athletes with performance goals and teaching individuals new to fitness the best movements to lose fat and gain strength. While ultra-fatiguing, blisteringly difficult workouts make you FEEL like you burned fat and built muscle, harder is not necessarily better. My classes and private sessions will offer scientifically programmed workouts designed to help reduce your risk of injury while improving your body's ability to recover and perform your daily tasks, participate in recreational activities, and rock your extreme sports. Let's take a step back to knowing you. You are much more than just a physical body. I see the tremendous value in the Medicine Wheel’s holistic approach to healing. I will be part of your path to wellness by getting to know you personally. This will help me refer you to a practitioner that offers healing in the emotional, mental, or spiritual area when it falls out of my scope of practice. You had a goal in mind when clicking on this website or walking into a fitness class. After years of training children as young as four and adults up to seventy years young, I’ve been reaffirmed in the fact that we all have different goals. This is why it’s important to take action AND have a deeper look inside yourself and your motivations. A simple step like this will likely set you up for long term success and the ability to sustain choices that’ll leave you more fulfilled and stressing less about life. I hope to meet you soon and come alongside your choices to a high-performing and satisfying life!
Strength Circuit has been designed to provide a total body workout emphasizing mobility, core stability, strength, and cardiovascular health using functional bodyweight exercises, kettlebells, steel maces, TRX suspension straps and a variety of tools from your instructors. 
We keep you safe while making you strong and confident, preventing injury and moving your fitness to the next level.
